11 and up swimmers join us for a full day of fun at Carowinds with your fellow Bolts!

Transportation & Timing

• Meet at BW Pool: 8:00 AM
• Bus departs: 8:30 AM
• Arrive at Carowinds: ~10:30 AM
• Meet at bus: 5:30 PM
• Dinner stop at Culver’s (on the way home)
• Return to BW Pool: ~8:00–8:30 PM

🚌 Bus capacity is 56 total (first come, first served). If the bus fills, you are welcome to drive and meet the team at Carowinds.

Chaperone Guidelines

• Ages 11–12: 1 chaperone required per 4 swimmers (must stay with group in park)
• Ages 13+: A few designated adults will be onsite (meeting location will be shared)
• All chaperones must RSVP and pay

RSVP & Payment

• RSVP in SwimTopia by May 20
• $75 per swimmer (includes park ticket + charter bus)
• Please bring money for in-park food + dinner at Culver’s

Following Thursday’s home meet, we’d love for swimmers and families to celebrate the finish of our home meet with pizza and cake at the pool! 🍕🎂

Before the celebration begins, we’ll need everyone to help with post-meet cleanup and resetting the pool. Once cleanup is complete, swimmers will be allowed back in the water and the party can begin.

Cake will be provided for swimmers at no cost.

If you’d like to pre-order a XL pizza, RSVP in SwimTopia (here) and include:

Join your fellow Bolts for an afternoon of skating, music, games, and fun! We’re swapping practice for a team skate day and can’t wait to spend time together off the pool deck. 

Siblings are welcome to attend!

This is not a drop-off event. All swimmers must have a parent/chaperone present during the event.

New to the Botany Bolts, or looking for a refresher from last season? Join us for a quick and helpful overview of the swim season!

We’ll cover everything you need to know:

• Practice schedule and what to expect
• Swim meets and how they work
• Volunteer roles and expectations
• Team communication and where to find information

There will be time for questions at the end.

We highly encourage at least one parent from each new family to attend. This is the best way to start the season informed and ready to go!
