    2026 Guppy Season


    Our guppy program is the starting point for many Botany Bolts swimmers. As a stepping stone to the competitive team, swimmers will learn to swim a full lap, build endurance, and begin developing basic stroke skills. The program is designed to be a supportive, encouraging environment where young swimmers can grow and celebrate progress in the pool.

    Requirements

    • Must be a child or grandchild of a Botany Woods residence
    • Must be at least 4 years old by May 31 (or have completed K3 in school) 
    • Must be comfortable putting their face in the water

    Guppy Kickoff Practices 

    May 26 & 27 
    8:45–9:30 AM or 5:00–5:45 PM


    Regular Season Practices

    June 1–3, 8–10, 15–16 
    Monday–Wednesday
    8:45–9:30 AM or 5:00–5:45 PM


    What to Bring 

    Guppies should bring: 

    • A comfortable swimsuit
    • Towel
    • Goggles
    • A positive attitude and willingness to try!

    Meet the Botany Bolts Guppy Coaches


    Our Guppy program is led by an incredible group of swimmers who bring energy, encouragement, and lots of fun to the pool each day! These coaches help our youngest Bolts build confidence, learn swim basics, and most importantly — have a great time in the water.

    Guppy Meet & Banquet


    The Guppy season concludes with a special Guppy Meet where swimmers can show off what they’ve learned. 

    Wednesday, June 17 
    5:30 PM at the Botany Woods Pool

    A celebration banquet will follow immediately after the meet.
