The Botany Bolts recognize swimmers who demonstrate dedication, improvement, leadership, sportsmanship, and team spirit throughout the season. The awards below are presented annually at the Bolts Banquet and represent some of the highest honors on our team.
Bolts Club
The Bolts Club recognizes swimmers who demonstrate long-term commitment to the Botany Bolts swim team.
Swimmers earn membership based on years of participation and are recognized for their loyalty, dedication, and continued involvement in the program.

Ironman Award
The Ironman Award recognizes swimmers who successfully compete in all six individual SAIL events during a single season:
- Short Freestyle
- Long Freestyle
- Backstroke
- Breaststroke
- Butterfly
- Individual Medley (IM)
This award celebrates versatility, determination, and a willingness to take on every challenge.

The Most Improved Award is presented annually to one male swimmer and one female swimmer who demonstrate the greatest overall improvement in their swim times during the season.

Bolt of the Year
The Bolt of the Year Award is presented annually to one male swimmer and one female swimmer.
Selected by the coaching staff and swim team board, this award recognizes the swimmers who best exemplify the values of the Botany Bolts:

- Teamwork and encouragement
- Fun, friendship, and community

The Swimmer of the Year Award is the most prestigious honor presented by the Botany Bolts.
