Hello Bolt Families,

Our first swim meet is almost here, and we’re excited to dive in on Thursday night! Please review all the important information below as we get ready for a fun week at the pool.

BOLT NEWS
Meet Signups Open
Declare your intent to swim + sign up for volunteer jobs for all dual meets. Even if your swimmer will not attend a meet, you still need to declare them as “Not Attending.” Changes for swimmer declarations can be done up until the Saturday before the meet.

Team Suits and Caps Pickup
Team suits, caps, and any remaining team t-shirts will be available for pickup at practices beginning Monday.

New Parent Orientation
The information from our meeting can be found here. Reach out to Kimber with any questions.

SwimTopia Mobile
If you haven’t yet, download Swimtopia Mobile and enable notifications. This will be our primary tool for weather updates, meet notifications, and schedule changes throughout the season.

COACHES CORNER
The coaches were so impressed with our team during the first week of practice! We’ve already seen great effort, positive attitudes, and team spirit — even in some very cold water. This week, we’ll continue reviewing meet basics, stroke technique, and helping swimmers feel confident and prepared for Thursday night.

VOLUNTEERS
Officials training for 2026 must be completed by May 21 and can be completed online here.

We still have 13 unfulfilled spots for Thursday’s meet. Please sign up as soon as possible if you have not already done so. As a reminder, each family is expected to volunteer at meets their swimmer attends. If volunteer positions remain unfilled, families who have not signed up may be assigned a role.

Guppy practices begin May 26! A team email for the start of Guppy season will be sent this week. Stay tuned!
